SUNNA plays scandinavian country and folk, which takes you back to a small fishing village in Iceland where big dreams meet harsh weather and isolation, melancholia and a deep urge to create. Growing up listening to the local countryradio forms her, but she has now found her own way to express herself and play country, and it’s fun and casual, raw and honest and always deeply personal.
SUNNA released her first EP “Declaration” in February 2019 and it contains six original songs and lyrics. The album is produced by producer Dennis “Ghettoblast” Ahlgren and has gotten some airplay in Icelandic radio. It can be found on Spotify and other streaming services.
