Cable bacteria are given a chance to sing through the cables they inhabit

They eat, they breathe, they die. Still, they emit no sound. Life Bits gives microorganisms a way to sing their life through sound. Cable bacteria are filamentous, multicellular microorganisms capable of generating and transporting electricity. This installation is formed through DNA sequences of cable bacteria being translated into rhythm, adding elements of improvisation through diverse instruments to generate a multi-channel piece that shows how liable to change life can be at a microscopic level.
