Mystery ensemble performs work by a computerised composer

Somewhere in the gun school there’s a computerised composer working relentlessly day and night. It is composing a piece performed by a hidden ensemble situated under the gun school. The composition changes very slowly over the course of the festival, so it’s different every time you visit. This installation invites you to just sit and observe the gradual change happening all around you.

THE ARTIST

Tõnis Kristian Koppel (1994) is a bassist and composer from Jõgeva, Estonia. In 2018 he
moved to Aarhus in order to study at the Royal Academy of Music. Coming from a software development background, he likes to find novel ways of making and experiencing music by combining programming, electronics and good old-fashioned jazz improvisation.
