Through gloomy and heavy electronic compositions, William Gerdes combines the experiments of installation art with the relatable honesty of hip hop and pop. Central to his pieces is the vocal and its processing, which through self-built microphones and specially designed clothing acquires an almost physical character, which is at the same time alluring and alienating.
