Experience the sound of trumpets playing from new heights

Trumpets are well known for the sound of their fanfares, which were traditionally performed in many non-concert-like settings, and are still to this day often performed from balconies on special occasions. But does it just have to be fanfares? X5TPT will perform a broader repertoire from the heights of the church tower for the public to enjoy down below. Following inspiration from online recordings and experiences during the pandemic, X5TPT saw the opportunity to perform from the tower of St Lukas church as a perfect canvas for a trumpet ensemble.

Dates for installations expected: May 19th at 18:00, 21st at 12:00, 22nd at 14:00, 28th at 12:00.

 THE ARTIST

X5TPT are all students on their Master's degree or higher at the Royal Academy of Music. From Australia, to Italy and the UK, these 5 trumpeters enjoy making music together, cooperating across their diverse backgrounds. Their experience playing together in a variety of ensemble formations has led to the discovery of exciting repertoire to perform for trumpet ensemble.
